1. Information We Collect

• When entering a raffle: name only (School/Group Mode), or name and email address (Room Mode and General Mode). When creating a raffle: your email address
• U.S. zip code for eligibility verification (General Mode only — Room Mode and School/Group Mode do not ask for one)
• IP address and device information for security purposes
• Usage data to improve the Platform

Host accounts. When you create a geRaff account, we collect your email address. We do not collect or store a password. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email. We store a record linking your account to the raffles you create. We also record each Quick Draw you run: the time and the size of the pool, linked to your account. We do not record the numbers in the pool or the number drawn.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate raffles and notify winners
• To send entry confirmation emails (General Mode only — a Room Mode entry is complete the moment it is submitted, so there is nothing to confirm)
• To notify winners by email (General Mode and Room Mode). School/Group Mode collects no entrant email addresses, and the host announces the winner directly
• To send the geRaff newsletter (if opted in)
• To prevent fraud and abuse
• To improve our Platform

3. What Hosts See, and What We Do Not Share

A Host sees entries to the raffles they created, and to no others. What they see of an entry depends on the plan that Host is on.

• On the free plan, a Host sees each entrant's name. After the draw, the Host also receives the winner's name and email address, so they can arrange the prize. The Host is not shown any other entrant's email address.
• On a paid plan, a Host sees each entrant's name and email address for their own raffle, from the time the entry is made. A raffle created with an Event Pass counts as a paid raffle, whatever plan the Host is otherwise on.
• School/Group Mode collects no entrant email addresses at all, so a Host running one sees names only, on every plan.

Where a Host receives your email address, that Host holds it directly and is responsible for how they use it. See Section 16 of our Terms of Service, which sets out what a Host may and may not do with it, and Section 5 below for what to do if a Host will not stop contacting you.

• We do not share entrant information with anyone other than the Host of the raffle you entered, except as described below

We use third-party service providers to operate the Platform, including website hosting, database and authentication, transactional email, analytics, rate limiting, and payment processing. They receive only the data needed to perform their function.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects payment details directly from you, and geRaff never receives or stores card information. For Hosts on a paid plan, geRaff stores a Stripe customer identifier and your current plan and billing status, so that we can apply the correct plan to your account and manage your subscription. This information is retained while your account exists and for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Marketing email is sent through a third-party service, and only to people who affirmatively opt in.

IP addresses are processed by a third-party rate-limiting service to prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with any other third party except as required by law.

4. Data Security

Email addresses collected in General Mode and Room Mode are encrypted at rest. School/Group Mode collects no email addresses from entrants. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data by contacting us

If a Host is contacting you and you want them to stop, tell the Host — they hold your address and they are the one sending. Every message a Host sends you is required to carry a working way to opt out. If you have asked and it has not stopped, contact us and we will act on it, including by removing the Host from the Platform.

6. Newsletter

If you opted into the geRaff newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.

7. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies.

Essential cookies. If you sign in to a geRaff account, we set a session cookie so you stay logged in. The Platform cannot function without it.

Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used. These cookies collect usage data such as pages visited and general location.

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not run advertising pixels or trackers from Meta, TikTok, or any ad network.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to operate the Platform, maintain the integrity and auditability of raffle results, and meet our legal obligations.

Prize images uploaded by Hosts are deleted 30 days after a winner is selected.

Raffle records, including entries, winners, and draw history, are retained so that past results remain verifiable.

Quick Draw records are kept as account activity. They contain no Entrant information.
