geRaff is a raffle platform where hosts create free-entry raffles for real prizes. To protect entrants, hosts, and the platform, the following items may never be raffled on geRaff and the following conduct is strictly prohibited.
Absolute Prohibitions
The following may never be raffled on geRaff under any circumstances:
Items
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
- Tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products
- Alcohol of any kind
- Prescription drugs or controlled substances of any kind
- Adult or sexually explicit content of any kind
- Counterfeit, replica, or stolen goods
- Live animals
- Human remains, organs, or tissue
- Personal data, account credentials, or access to another person's private accounts
- Any item that is illegal to sell, transfer, or own under United States federal or applicable state law
Conduct
- Creating a raffle with no real prize (bait-and-switch)
- Misrepresenting the prize description or Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
- Raffling the same prize simultaneously on multiple platforms without disclosure
- Using geRaff to collect entrant data for any purpose other than administering the raffle
- Hosting a raffle on behalf of another party without disclosing the actual prize sponsor in the Official Rules
Restricted Items
The following require prior written approval from geRaff before a raffle may be created. To request approval, contact hello@geraff.com before creating your raffle.
- Gift cards with a total ARV exceeding $500
- Travel prizes of any kind (flights, hotels, vacation packages)
- Raffles where the intended primary audience is minors under 18
- Raffles restricted by employer, school, or organizational affiliation
Enforcement
geRaff reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any raffle that violates this policy at any time and without prior notice. Hosts who violate this policy may have their access to the platform revoked.
Entrants who believe a raffle violates this policy may report it by contacting hello@geraff.com.
This policy is incorporated by reference into geRaff's Terms of Service. geRaff reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
